Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 14 July 2026
These terms cover the mobile game LightKeeper and the website wicklightgames.com, both published by WICKLIGHT ("Wicklight", "we"), a sole proprietorship registered in France, SIREN 893 058 214, based in Courbevoie, France.
Agreeing to these terms
By installing or playing LightKeeper, or by using this website, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the game or the site. LightKeeper is distributed through Google Play, so Google's own terms and policies also apply to your download and your purchases.
Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play LightKeeper on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. The game, its code, art, music, names and stories belong to Wicklight or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. These terms give you no right other than the license above.
Age
You must be old enough to enter into these terms in your country, or have a parent or guardian accept them for you. The same applies to purchases.
Fair play
The online features are shared with other players, so:
- Do not cheat: no exploiting bugs, tampering with the app or its network traffic, automating play, or manipulating scores.
- Do not disrupt the services or try to access accounts or data that are not yours.
- Do not reverse engineer the game, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Choose a pseudonym that is not offensive, misleading or impersonating someone; pseudonyms are moderated.
We may remove fraudulent scores, rename pseudonyms, and suspend or terminate the online features of accounts that break these rules.
Purchases and virtual content
LightKeeper offers optional one-time purchases (supporter tiers) through Google Play. The price is always shown before you confirm. Purchases unlock digital content on your account immediately: where EU consumer law applies, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery has begun.
Virtual content has no monetary value, is tied to your account, and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for real money. Refunds are handled through Google Play's refund process; nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including under the French Consumer Code. If something went wrong with a purchase, contact support@wicklightgames.com and we will do our best to fix it.
Online services
Cloud save and the leaderboard are provided free of charge and depend on third-party infrastructure. We may update, suspend or discontinue them as the game evolves; where the law requires it, we will give reasonable notice. You can play offline, and you can delete your account at any time (see Account Deletion).
Liability
The game and this website are provided "as is", to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by mandatory law, our total liability for any claim related to the game or the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that consumer law grants you, or any liability that cannot be limited under French law.
Ending things
You can stop using the game at any time and delete your account in the app. We may terminate your license if you materially breach these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms as the game and the law evolve; the date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be flagged in the app or on this site; continuing to play after that means you accept the new terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. If you have a problem, write to support@wicklightgames.com first; most issues are solved that way. Consumers in France may also use a consumer mediation service free of charge before going to court.
